The Direct Resource structure (正印格, called 印綬格 in Japan) forms when the Direct Resource among the month branch's hidden stems shows on a stem, or when the month branch's main qi is Direct Resource. Direct Resource produces the Day Master with the opposite yin or yang: protection, learning and reputation. One of the four auspicious structures, it brings kindness, love of study and helpful mentors.

What breaks the Direct Resource structure, and the remedies

Its great fear is Wealth breaking the seal: Wealth controls Resource, trading study or reputation for money ('greed for wealth breaks the seal'). Too much Resource for an already strong Day Master breeds dependence and idleness.
